Function Description:
The IoT gateway HMI1002-ARM-4G (featuring 1 Ethernet port, 2 RS485 serial ports, and dynamic support for 512 points), in conjunction with the configuration and editing software X2View, enables on-site data collection and real-time data monitoring. Utilizing 4G network compatibility, it meets customers' needs for remote data transmission.
Users do not need to purchase additional configuration software; they can simply log in to the configuration interface using a computer, mobile phone, iPad, or any device with a built-in browser to monitor the system. This allows for remote control of equipment start-stop and operation, providing users with an excellent operational experience. Additionally, It has the functions of WeChat alarm, SMS platform alarm, DingTalk alarm, email alarm, MQTT service, and uploading to the cloud for engineering data.
The gateway is configured using the X2View software. Users can configure it based on the point list of existing devices, convert it to standard BACnet IP or Modbus RTU/TCP, and upload it to the hardware gateway. BACnet/Modbus clients can then access the data of field devices through the gateway
(Note: For this gateway, the Modbus register addresses on the collection side start from 1 in decimal (Base1) and from 0 in hexadecimal (Base0); while on the forwarding side, the base addresses of Modbus registers all start from 1 (Base1).)
Application Field:
IoT gateway is applied in building automation systems or industrial fields to connect Modbus RTU devices. It resolves the issue of integrating non-BACnet devices with building control configuration software such as Johnson Controls' Metasys, Honeywell's EBI or Niagara, Siemens' Insight or Desigo CC, and Schneider's EBO. Additionally, it addresses the integration of serial Modbus RTU devices, such as PLC, DDC, thermostat, elevator, HVAC system, UPS, fire Alarm, smart lighting, electricity meter, water meter, etc., with configuration software like Citect, IFIX, RSVIEW, WinCC, Kingview, and ForceControl via the Modbus TCP protocol over Ethernet.
